| I started off with a hemp/organic cotton jersey that I dyed to a lovely amber brown. Appliqués of swirling vines and leaves throughout the body using assorted hand-dyed hemps. 4 different fabrics in the sleeves; light green soy/cotton/lycra blend, deep green 100% hemp knit, olive green hemp/cotton jersey and the edge of the sleeve is done in a SUPER soft Organic cotton leaf print knit. I trimmed the top in a bias-cut quilt-shop floral print that is also used in the front tie. SOLD! thanks, Stephanie!!! |

I've had this cozy velour in my fabric stash for several years now; I believe it is a
polyester cotton blend. Black hemp/cotton jersey makes up the hood, pockets, front
inset, and raglan sleeves, with darts at the shoulders. Decorative contrasting
stitching supports the pockets, adorned with a dragonfly on one side. I've also added
a cute flower on the oversized hood, with irredescent thread around the center.
Franny is set to a 41" bust, and she still has a bit of room. This top has a rounded
hemline, with decorative stitching that cuts lower in front and higher at the sides.

fabrics used here, mainly a golden print with cute little flowers all over it. Bodice is
lined in matching fabric. I used green floral for the shoulder ties, and ruffled trim. This
one will fit someone with a 32-35" bust, and is 16 1/2" long.

around. There are 3 different prints I used for the rasta colors. The bright red fabric
is also used in the ruffles, that go right up the back. The straps have little cap
"sleeves" at the shoulder for that cute girly look. I did chevron patchwork in the front
and a fluttering butterfly applique on the bosom. As my usual apron tops work, this
one has double-top-stitched strapping that goes thru a set of casings at the back to
cinch up for just the perfect fit.
